Welcome to Shaw High Raiders JROTC Program of this year!

 We are glad your child has an interest in the JROTC program. 

SHAW HIGH SCHOOL JROTC the Raider Battalion, is looking forward to sharing new experiences with you and your child. 

Our mission is to motivate young people to become better citizens.

Our instructors are retired military employers who are qualified to teach the program. Drill, Ceremonies, and the classroom training are cadet driven tasks. Cadet driven tasks allows us to see what your son/daughter is capable of in front of a group. We also put cadets in different leadership positions throughout the year. This tells us if your son/daughter is strong in leading or needs to be improved. In whatever case we are glad to help your child become more independent and strive to reach their goals in life. As we say,
